S.S. Rajamouli is a prominent filmmaker from the Indian film industry whose latest film RRR became a global sensation and bagged the prestigious Academy Awards for the song Naattu Naattu. The director has shared an exciting new post that has become viral on social media. S.S. Rajamouli shared a 40-second-long video and wrote a long post about he trip in central Tamil Nadu. He stated that he wanted to go on a road trip in central Tamil Nadu for a long time. He added that his daughter wants to visit Temples and so the trip began. The filmmaker then said he visited Srirangam, Darasuram, Brihadeeswarar Koil, Rameshwaram, Kanadukathan, Thoothukudi and Madurai in the last week of June. The director added that he "could only touch the tip of the iceberg in the few days and Exquisite architecture, amazing engineering and deep spiritual thought of Pandyas, Chozhas Nayakkars and many other rulers was truly mesmerizing.”
The director SS Rajamouli then spoke about the food and cuisine of Tamil Nadu, as he stated “whether the fine dining in Mantrakooda Kumbakonam or a kaka hotel murugan mess in Rameshwaram the food has been marvellous everywhere…” He then said jovially that "I must have put on 2-3 Kilos in a week" and added that this homeland tour was refreshing and uplifting after 3 months of foreign travel and food. The video featured pictures of some of the famous temples in central Tamil Nadu and also shows a glimpse of the director drinking Jigarthanda which is famous in Madurai, enjoying time with his family and kayaking in Thoothukudi. At the end of the video, a message shows that "the exploring Central Tamil Nadu's rich heritage and divine tranquillity was soul-stirring."
The world is looking forward to known updates about the next project of director S.S. Rajamouli after RRR. It is speculated to be with actor Mahesh Babu, tentatively titles SSMB29 and there is also speculations of a sequel to RRR.
