We have seen a few celebrity weddings take place during the lockdown, especially in the south Indian film industry. Actor Manikandan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nikhil Sidhartha and Rangasthalam Mahesh are some of the names to get married in the last couple months during the corona lockdown phase. The latest to join the bandwagon happens to be Nikhil Panicker who is the son of actor Renji Panicker. Nikhil got married Megha Sreekumar yesterday in Pathanamthitta's Aranumula temple. The marriage ceremony is said to have been performed by following the lockdown protocols with only the immediate family members in attendance.

Renji Panicker, apart from acting in several films like Premam, Love Action Drama, Oppam and Solo, he has also directed a couple of Malayalam movies. Nikhil also has a twin brother, Nithin Panicker who has directed a movie called Kasaba featuring Mammootty in the lead role. Just like his father Renji and twin brother Nithin, even Nikhil has plans to foray into films. Reports suggest that Nikhil will soon be making his acting debut with the Kalamandalam Hyderali biopic. The biopic will also have Nikhil’s father Ranji Panicker, as the he will be playing Kalamandalam Hyderali’s older version in the film. The film will apparently be directed by Kiran G Nath.

We wish the couple all the very best!
