Actress Rashmika Mandanna became a sensation across South India after starring in the smash hit Telugu film, Geetha Govindam, last year opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Seen last in Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade this year, she is all set to make her Tamil cinema debut opposite Karthi in the upcoming Sulthan under Remo director Bakkiyaraj Kannan, which is being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Meanwhile, Rashmika had taken to her Instagram page to post a story in which she revealed the ‘Singappenney’ song from ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s recently-released action sports film, Bigil, gives her goosebumps while also praising the singers, actors and the visuals that were shot. Fans will know that Rashmika was considered to be a hot favorite to star opposite Vijay in Bigil and also the upcoming, Thalapathy 64, which also has Vijay Sethupathi, Angamaly Diaries fame Antony Varghese and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in major roles. Ever since she burst onto the scene, a major section of fans have been wanting to witness Rashmika paired up with Vijay in a film and it now remains a waiting game. Having debuted in the Kannada film, Kirik Party, in 2016, Rashmika has become a much sought-after star in recent times and is now a major box office draw for filmmakers.
