Leading Telugu actor Ram Charan has launched his new production banner, V Mega Pictures, in association with Vikram Reddy of UV Creations, for a new film titled The India House on Sunday. The upcoming project marks their first collaboration and has been announced in association with the Abhishek Agarwal Arts banner. Announced today on the occasion of Veer Savarkar's birth anniversary, The India House also marks the directorial debut of Ram Vamsi Krishna and will see Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead role alongside veteran actor Anupam Kher.
Ram Charan released a special motion poster for The India House giving audiences the first glimpse of what's in store up ahead along with the reveal of the film's story set in the pre-independence era in London and will see Nikhil Siddhartha playing a character named Shiva, while Anupam Kher is cast in the role of Shyamji Krishna Varma. The India House motion poster starts off hinting at a love story taking place during a political conflict eventually showing a building in flames along with the introduction of the film's hero. Presented by Ram Charan, The India House will be released in major Indian languages and selected foreign languages, with Cameron Bryson boarding the film for the cinematography, V Mega Pictures, and Abhishek Agarwal Arts have announced. More details about the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon for the film being produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal and Abhishek Agarwal. Ram Charan, on the other hand, earlier wrapped up shooting the climax of his next big film, Game Changer, under Shankar's direction. Being produced by Dil Raju and Shirish's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the upcoming film is the prestigious production house's 50th film and also stars Kiara Advani, S J Suryah, Anjali, Samuthirakani, Srikanth, Sunil among others as part of the ensemble cast, with music being composed by chart-buster composer Thaman. S. Ram Charan, who became a global name after the phenomenal success of RRR, also starring Jr. NTR, under S. S. Rajamouli's direction, is collaborating next with Telugu filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana for a new film.
