Blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Shankar is best known for directing big-budget films and has several massive box office hits to his name. Having also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil in 2006 for the movie Veyil, which he produced under his S Pictures banner, the ace director is currently busy with his ongoing biggie venture, the tentatively titled RC 15 starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan in the lead role. Shankar, whose last directorial was the 2018 'Superstar' Rajinikanth starrer 2.0, shared his thoughts on Saturday after watching Ram Charan's latest film, RRR, directed by Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli.
Shankar, who is also expected to resume filming along with 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan for their Indian 2, tweeted his opinion after watching SS Rajamouli's mammoth RRR. Singing praises, the RC 15 director gave Rajamouli a new title and said, "Ravishing,Riveting,Robust.A Roar that’ll echo throughout times. Thanks to the whole team for an unparalleled experience. @AlwaysRamCharan -Raging Performance & Screen presence. @tarak9999‘s Radiant Bheem captivates your heart.Ur imagination stays undefeated, hats off “MahaRaja”mouli."

Both Rajamouli and Shankar are regarded as filmmakers who make large-scale films with perfection and this latest gesture shows how good RRR has indeed turned out to be. Apart from Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, RRR, which has opened to positive reviews from the critics and fans, also has praiseworthy performances from Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. As for Shankar's RC 15 being produced under Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film is based on a script written by director Karthik Subbaraj and also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead, with Anjali, Jayaram among others cast in pivotal roles and includes music by S. Thaman.
