'Superstar’ Rajinikanth fans everywhere are a happy lot now. Yesterday saw reputed production house, Sun Pictures, drop a massive new announcement about them associating with Rajinikanth for the third time after Enthiran and Petta for their upcoming tentatively titled film, Thalaivar 168, which will he helmed by the blockbuster Viswasam director Siva. With Rajinikanth and director Siva joining hands for the first time, editor Ruben has now revealed in an exclusive interview to us that he has also come on board for Thalaivar 168. Editor Ruben, who is at present attached to the upcoming ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay starrer, Bigil, and was also part of Ajith’s Viswasam earlier this year will be working in a Rajinikanthfilm for the first ever time in his career. This will also be his fourth-time association with Siva after they began their partnership in Vedalam and followed it up with Vivegam and Viswasam.
Although no plans have been revealed as to when Thalaivar 168 will roll into production, there has been a huge buzz regarding the rest of the crew, especially with the talk surrounding who will be scoring the music for the film. Speculations are rife that composers Yuvan Shankar Raja and D. Imman are the front runners to score music for Thalaivar 168, which we will have to wait for a few more days to know. Director Siva has stated that the upcoming film will also be a family entertainer and will cater to audiences of all ages.
