Central Institute of Classical Tamil (மத்திய செம்மொழித் தமிழாய்வு நிறுவனம்) is an organization that is functioning in Chennai for the development of the Tamil language. This is an independent organization functioning under the Ministry of Human Resource Development department. However, for the past 12 years, the organization was functioning without a Director to monitor the proceedings. Recently, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Cabinet Minister for Human Resource Development appointed Professor R.Chandrasekaran as the first Director of the organization.
Reacting to this move, Superstar Rajinikanth has issued a statement, thanking the Central Government and the Minister for showing the interest to develop the Tamil language. His official statement read, “To The Honourable Minister Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishakji. Thank you for your efforts and commitment to the promotion of Tamil language and for appointing Prof. R. Chandrasekaran as the first Director of Central Institute of Classical Tamil in Chennai. With Best Regards, Rajinikanth”. This statement has gone viral on social media and has created a buzz, as well.
On the acting front, Rajinikanth’s next film would be Annaatthe, a rural family entertainer, directed by Siva and produced by Sun Pictures. This film features an ensemble star cast that includes Khushbu Sundar, Meena, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Soori, Sathish, and others. Check out Rajinikanth’s statement below:
