Well, it looks like Raghava Lawrence is in no mood to leave the poor and needy suffer. As we all know, the coronavirus pandemic has badly affected the daily livelihood of people and more specifically, the lives of daily wage workers and the poor. Realizing the seriousness of the issue, Lawrence had announced a donation of Rs 3 crores that would be split and given to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, PM - CARES Relief Fund, Chennai Dancers Union, FEFSI Union, and other associations. He had also recently donated an amount of Rs 15 lakhs to Chennai Chengalpet Kanchipuram Thiruvallur Distributors Association, headed by T Rajendar.
According to the latest official development, the multi-talented artist has now donated Rs 25 Lakhs to the members of Nadigar Sangam (South Indian Artistes Association) and this money would be given to the vulnerable members of the association, who are badly affected. This timely donation from Lawrence has earned a very good name and respect for him among the industry people. Lawrence is one of the very few actors in the industry who has donated money to the majority of the associations and unions and it definitely shows his generosity.
On the work front, Lawrence is currently directing Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi remake of Kanchana, starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. After completing it, Lawrence would be acting in the sequel of Chandramukhi, directed by P Vasu and produced by Sun Pictures.
