Atharvaa's Kuruthi Aattam is slated to release in theatres on August 5 and it is expected to be an intense action drama with a strong content. The film is directed by the young and talented Sri Ganesh who made an impressive debut in Tamil cinema with 8 Thottakkal. Produced by T Muruganantham under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment, the film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the ace composer's work is going to be one of the important highlights of the film. Dinesh Purushothaman has handled the cinematography of the film, while Anil Krish and Kumar Gangappan have taken care of the editing and art direction departments respectively. Vicky has taken care of the stunts.
With the film slated to release in theatres on August 5, the makers have been releasing character look posters on a daily basis and today (July 24), the team released a special poster of Priya Bhavani Shankar who plays the female lead. Priya will be essaying the character of Vennila, a teacher and the star actress is said to have got a very interesting character that has vital importance. Priya Bhavani Shankar has become one of the leading actors in Kollywood and it is going to be interesting to see how she has played Vennila Teacher in Kuruthi Aattam.
Apart from Atharvaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kuruthi Aattam also has Radharavi, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Vatsan, Kanna Ravi, and others in pivotal roles. Priya Bhavani Shankar was last seen in Arun Vijay's Yaanai, directed by Hari. Up next, she has multiple exciting projects in her kitty and the main one happens to be Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam which is slated to release on August 18. Priya will be playing one of the female leads alongside Raashi Khanna and Nithya Menen. Thiruchitrambalam is directed by Mithran R Jawahar and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
