Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will be teaming up with director Harish Shankar (of Gabbar Singh and Gaddalakonda Ganesh fame) for a new film which is tentatively titled #PSPK28. The film will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. #PSPK28 is a film that has excited the fans ever since its announcement as it marks the comeback of Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar after the blockbuster success of Gabbar Singh. The shooting of the movie is yet to begin and the pre-production works are happening in full swing. Recently, a picture of Pawan Kalyan sitting on a bike with a bearded look went viral on social media.

There were wide speculations that this picture was from PSPK 28 and the image garnered wide attention. However, the makers of the movie have now clarified that the picture is fake and informed that anything official about the film will come only through the official social media handles of the producers. Later, it was found that the picture was morphed by a few fans. Mythri Movie Makers' official statement regarding the issue read, "We planned to release the title & first look for Ugadi but due to the pandemic situation, we postponed it! Having said that, it's lovely to see so many convos about the film on social media but remember everything official will come exclusively from our handles at the right time!".

PSPK 28, which has got phenomenal expectations among the fans, has music composed by rockstar Devi Sri Prasad. Pawan Kalyan was recently seen playing the lead role in Vakeel Saab, the Telugu remake of the Taapsee - Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pink. The film was directed by Venu Sriram. Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, and Ananya Nagalla, and Prakash Raj played important roles in the film which was produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, in association with Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP. Vakeel Saab is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
