Leading Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra got engaged to politician Raghav Chadha in Delhi on Saturday. The actress shared the big news on social media and posting photos acknowledging for the first time her relationship with the Aam Aadmi Party leader. The engagement ceremony held at Raghav's Delhi home was attended by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Priyanka Chopra, Manish Malhotra, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and Derek O’Brien, among many others from the world of entertainment and politics. Announcing the news of her engagement to Raghav Chadha, Parineeti wrote on Instagram, "Everything I prayed for .. I said yes! ð", with the couple twinning in white in the pictures and the last photo showing their hands intertwined.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha sparked off dating rumors after they were seen together dining in a few restaurants in Mumbai. Although they have never spoken about their relationship to date until their engagement yesterday, they were seen recently during an IPL match in Mohali, leaving many to speculate that they were indeed together. A few weeks ago, Aadmi Party MP Sanjeev Arora congratulated the couple on Twitter ahead of their engagement and wrote, "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to @raghav_chadha and @ParineetiChopra. May their union be blessed with an abundance of love, joy, and companionship. My best wishes."
Parineeti's house was also decorated with lights in light of her engagement to Raghav, with the couple then seen together when they arrived in Delhi for their big day. On the work front, Parineeti, who was last seen in Uunchai, earlier this year, is awaiting the release of Chamkila, a biopic on Punjabi singer-songwriter pop star duo Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur, and is also currently filming Capsule Gill, which is headlined by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. Raghav Chadha, on the other hand, is a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and is also serving as the Co-Incharge of AAP Gujarat, while also being a National Executive Member of the political party.
