The young and talented Nivetha Thomas will be seen sharing screen space with Regina Cassandra in her brand new project and the official announcement regarding the film was made, this morning (July 26). Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas would be playing the lead roles in an untitled Telugu film which is the official remake of the Korean action comedy film, Midnight Runners. The original version had two male leads, while the Telugu remake will be having two female leads. According to reports, the remake will witness several other alterations as well. This film will be helmed by Sudheer Varma who is known for directing movies like Swamy Ra Ra, Dohchay, Ranarangam, etc.

The shooting of this remake project is progressing at a brisk pace and it looks like an interesting project is on cards. It is also going to be a visual treat for the fans to witness two talented actors - Regina and Nivetha Thomas together and expectations have already been created. This film will be bankrolled by Suresh Productions, in association with Guru Films and Kross Pictures. The trio had earlier produced the superhit Samantha starrer, Oh Baby and the successful combination has now returned for the remake of Midnight Runners. This new film will have music composed by Mikey McCleary.

The rest of the cast are yet to be known. Nivetha Thomas was last seen in the recent Telugu blockbuster hit, Vakeel Saab which featured Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Nivetha Thomas played one of the three girls in the film, along with Anjali and Ananya Nagalla. The film was directed by Venu Sriram. Nivetha also has several other interesting projects in her lineup for which we can expect announcements in the coming days.
