Natural Star Nani, who was last seen in Tuck Jagadish that released earlier this year, is all geared up for his next release, Shyam Singha Roy that is scheduled to hit the screens across the world on December 24, for the Christmas weekend. Ahead of the film's release, the makers unveiled the official trailer this evening and it looks quite promising and interestingly done. The trailer packs a punch and gives us a brief idea of how the film is going to look. The story of Shyam Singha Roy takes place in two different timelines - one in the historical and the other being contemporary.
Nani is absolutely fantastic in dual roles and he leaves a solid impression with this trailer. Sai Pallavi who plays one of the female leads, look highly impressive in this trailer and it looks like this film will have an important place in her filmography. Krithi Shetty looks cute and she seems to have got an interesting role to play. The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan who had earlier directed the Vijay Deverakonda starrer Taxiwaala and it looks like the talented filmmaker has got an exciting premise in hand. The trailer is intriguingly cut making the audience curious and yearn for more. The suspense is maintained throughout the trailer and Shyam Singha Roy seems to be a unique film of sorts.
The trailer has opened to a positive response from the fans and film buffs. While the film is originally shot in Telugu, it will also have a dubbed release in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada. Produced by Venkat S Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment, the film has music composed by Mickey J Meyer. Apart from the leads, the film also has Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, and Abhinav Gomatam in crucial roles. The story of Shyam Singha Roy is penned by Satyadev Janga, while the cinematography and editing departments are headed by Sanu John Varghese and Naveen Nooli respectively.
