Maamannan is a recent hit film that was released in theatres on 29th June with Udhayanidhi Stalin and ‘Vaigai Puyal’ Vadivelu in the lead role. It’s the third directorial venture of trial-blazing filmmakers Mari Selvaraj. A distributor of the film has revealed the official box office report of the film. Ahimsa Entertainment the blockbuster distribution house has revealed the official box office collection of the film overseas in UK and Ireland. They have said that it's Udhayaniidhi Stalin's Highest UK Grosser. They have shared it with the official numbers saying “New milestone for Udhayanidhi Stalin with Maamannan crossing £40k at UK & Ireland box office - his highest grossing film till date!”. Which is nearly Rs.35.7 lakhs.
Four days after the release of Maamannan, It is said that the film has earned over Rs.30 crores in India and official reports are awaited. The cast of the film actor and producer Udhayanidhi Stalin with his wife Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Keerthy Suresh, director Mari Selvaraj celebrated the success of the film and the leading actor also shared a short video from the celebrations showing them cutting a cake. The producer of the film had also gifted a Mini Cooper car to the director Mari Selvaraj in celebration of the success of the hit film.
