The evergreen heartthrob Madhavan is busy with a number of projects in hand, including his directorial debut - the highly anticipated Rocketry: The Nambi Effect! Recently, the teaser of his yet another highly expected movie, the multi-lingual Nishabdham, was released and has been receiving a lot of critical acclaim. Over the last couple of days, there have been reports in various media that Madhavan would be pairing up with Ramya Krishnan and that the duo would be playing parents to Varun Tej, in his next movie, to be directed by debutante Kiran Korrapati.
However, Madhavan has issued a strong denial for these reports and calls them "not true by a long shot"! Varun Tej is basking in the success of his recent release - Gaddalakonda Ganesh, which is the official Telugu remake of the super hit Tamil movie Jigarthanda. This movie was originally titled Valmiki but had to be renamed after a section of the society raised questions against the title! Varun Tej's new movie will be bankrolled by Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Muddha under the Renaissance Pictures banner. Rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Madhavan is gearing up for the release of Rocketry, which is being made in three languages. This movie was to have originally been directed by Anant Mahadevan but he opted out of the project due to some issues and Madhavan, who has penned the script, stepped into the director's shoes himself! This movie will also see Maddy pairing up with Simran after 15 years. Simran will be playing Mrs. Nambi Narayanan in this movie. Stay tuned for updates...
