Popular English singer, songwriter and actress Leigh-Anne Pinnock, best known for being a member of the British girl group Little Mix, has given birth to twins with her fiancé football superstar Andre Gray. Leigh, who made the big announcement on Monday, revealed that the couple were blessed with twin babies on August 16, 2021. Posting a picture of her adorable newborns' feet, Leigh wrote, "We asked for a miracle, we were given two... ð¥ºð¤ Our Cubbies are here ðð¤16/08/21." The announcement has come a day after Leigh's Little Mix bandmate, Perrie Edwards herself revealed the news of the birth of her first child.
Post the huge announcement of Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s twins’ birth, friends and fans reacted to her Instagram post extending their congratulatory messages. Perrie Edwards commented, "Two bundles of absolute joy! I love you my Lee Lee!'', with Rochelle Humes writing, "Double the blessing." Earlier in May, Leigh-Anne shared the news of her pregnancy via an album of photos informing fans that she was expecting her first child with Watford and Jamaican footballer Andre Gray. She captioned her Instagram post: "We've dreamed about this moment for so long and we can't believe the dream is finally coming true... we can't wait to meet you."
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who has headlined Little Mix with Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards since 2012 (former member Jesy Nelson left in December 2020), has also collaborated with Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea for the non-album single 'Pretty Girls' in 2015. She along with Little Mix have also associated with Galantis and David Guetta for 'Heartbreak Anthem' earlier this year. Leigh shot to fame after emerging as winner on the British reality television music competition, The X Factor, in 2011, after which she made appearances on several documentaries among which include Glory Days: The Documentary, Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out and MTV Generation Change: Black Lives Matter to name a notable few.
