Gautham Vasudev Menon is a busy man these days appearing in almost every big Tamil film. All set to be seen next as a police officer in Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai: Part 1, the blockbuster Tamil filmmaker-actor recently wrapped up filming his portions in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction. Being produced by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, the upcoming mass action thriller's Kashmir schedule wrapped up last week, with the entire team returning to Chennai, and the makers releasing a tribute video dedicated to the film's crew. Gautham Menon, who finished shooting his portions in Leo a few days before the Kashmir schedule wrap up, recently took part in a college culturals event as the chief guest in Chennai.
During his interaction with the college students, Gautham Menon was bombarded with cheers for an update on Leo. The filmmaker said, "My friend Lokesh Kanagaraj is extremely strict. He said that they will ask for an update, but don't say anything. Even if they ask you anything, just tell them that the film is shaping up really well. All of you know that the shooting in Kashmir wrapped up recently and filming will begin in Chennai next. And, it was amazing to be with 'Thalapathy'." Gautham Menon is one among the several big stars roped in to appear alongside Vijay in Leo, which is slated to arrive in theatres on October 19 as an Ayudha pooja treat.
Leo will see Vijay sharing screen space with Gautham Menon and an ensemble star cast featuring the likes of Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Tamil filmmaker Mysskin, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, choreographer Sandy master, Malayalam actors Mathew Thomas and Babu Antony among others in key roles. Furthermore, the film also marks the big-screen reunion of Vijay and leading actress Trisha after 14 years, and the excitement is at its peak to witness the duo together once again. Leo marks the second collaboration for Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and composer Anirudh Ravichander after their 2021 blockbuster, Master, and expectations are huge for the trio to deliver a foot-tapping entertaining album.
