The novel coronavirus is continuing to cause severe loss and damage to life and the world economy with more than 360,000 people losing their lives and over six million testing positive to date for the infection. India too has seen a sharp rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the past month with the nation's coronavirus cases standing at over 1,80,000 while 5,000+ people have been recorded to have succumbed to the fatal disease. With a cure in the form of a vaccine or a drug yet to be found, the coronavirus is sparing no one and tragedy struck actress turned politician Khushbu Sundar when she revealed that a relative of hers had passed away after being infected by the virus.
Khushbu stated on Twitter that her eldest sister-in -law's cousin had passed away due to the novel coronavirus in Mumbai and the news has come as a major shock. Condolences have been pouring in from all corners with celebrities namely Neetu Chandra, Brindha Gopal, Kiki Vijay, Kaajal Pasupathi to expressing their sympathies. Below is Khushbu's tweet:
