South Indian sensation Keerthy Suresh rose to the top of the league in the film industry n quick time less than half a decade back and has acted alongside leading names among whom include 'Thalapathy' Vijay, 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan, Vishal, Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan, Nani and Dulquer Salmaan. Having won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her power-packed performance in the Savitri biopic, Mahanati, dubbed also in Tamil under the title Nadigaiyar Thilagam, Keerthy is at present associated with a number of high profile projects featuring big stars.
Keerthy, who is currently filming Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata announced to be a Sankranthi 2022 release, will also be seen in Telugu films like Good Luck Sakhi opposite Aadhi Pinisetty and Rang De alongside Nithiin. She also awaits the release of Mohanlal's historical war film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, and was also recently announced to be playing the female lead in Malayalam sensation Tovino Thomas’ upcoming venture titled Vaashi. Keerthy is also playing a big role in 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Annaatthe, while also being announced sometime back to be starring in Saani Kaayidham opposite director Selvaraghavan, who will be making his acting debut.
With such a big film lineup ahead, not many know that Keerthy Suresh's debut in Telugu was supposed to be a film titled Rendu Jella Seetha under Ram Prasad Ragutu's direction. Initially supposed to hit screens a few years back, the film inspired by Naresh Vijaya Krishna’s 1983 film of the same title, had been delayed for unknown reasons. Titled as Inaa Ishtam Nuvvu in the beginning, the makers later opted to change it to Rendu Jella Seetha, with Keerthy being paired opposite Naveen Vijay Krishna.
A teaser for the film was released last month, with the makers on Monday releasing the Rendu Jella Seetha trailer, which introduces to us the Keerthy Suresh we had seen in the beginning stages of her career. Produced by Chanti Addala, Rendu Jella Seetha being planned for a release soon also stars Naga Babu, Posani Krishna Murali among others in pivotal roles.
