The whole of Kollywood is gripped with Darbar fever and with the audio being launched recently, the songs are being blasting everywhere. Darbar, starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead, is being directed by AR Murugadoss and financed by Lyca Productions. Nayanthara plays the lady lead in this movie, in which Rajinikanth is donning the Khaki uniform after a gap of 28 years, after last playing a cop in Pandian. Darbar is slated for release on January 9th, 2020, in time for the Pongal festival. Meanwhile, Superstar Rajinikanth is already gearing up for his next movie, which is going by the working title Thalaivar 168! We now have a massive update about this movie!
Thalaivar 168 producers Sun Pictures have now announced that National Award winner Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to be a part of this movie. This is the first time that Keerthy Suresh will be acting alongside Thalaivar. Thalaivar 168 will be directed by Siruthai Siva, who just gave a blockbuster hit in Viswasam, this year. Earlier, it was announced that comedian Soori had been roped in for the cast of this movie. D. Imman has been signed on to compose the music for Thalaivar 168. There are also reports that either of Meena or Khushbu might also be roped in to pair up with Rajinikanth, in this movie but an official confirmation on this is yet to be announced.
Thalaivar 168 is set to go on floors very soon, from December itself. This movie is said to be a rural entertainer but further details regarding the movie, including the rest of the cast and crew are awaited. This movie is expected to hit the screens in time for Deepavali 2020. Following the announcement of Keerthy's inclusion, the dazzling beauty herself has released a video thanking the makers and director for this opportunity and also mentioned that she is a huge fan of the Superstar!
