Popular serial actor Karthik Sasidharan recently bid farewell to the serial, Idhayathai Thirudathey, in which he played an important role. Karthik played the role of Ilango in Idhayathai Thirudathey serial and his performance earned a positive reception from the family audience. He was part of the serial for over 400 episodes. Karthik's character of Ilango came to an end recently in the serial and that is why Karthik had to walk out of the show. He took to his official Instagram page to share a video of his performance from one of his last episodes to bid goodbye to the serial.

Sharing the video, Karthik Sasidharan wrote, "Hye guys ILANGO chapter got over in IDHAYATHAI THIRUDADHEY so thnq so much all of yo love yo all keep support me lik this always pray god fa me I’ll keep entertain yo all fa ever nd ever thnq so much producer mam thnq so much each nd every artist all artist is very precious love yo all ... nd miss yo too al the best guys keep rocking". This post from Karthik has gone viral on social media and has made his fans very emotional and sad. Karthik Sasidharan is currently acting in the Tamil serial, Neethane En Ponvasantham.

Idhayathai Thirudathey is a popular Tamil serial which is being aired on Colors Tamil channel. This serial is the official Tamil remake of the Marathi serial, Jeev Zala Yeda Pisa, which is aired on Colors Marathi. Idhayathai Thirudathey features Navin Kumar and Hima Bindhu in the lead roles and both of them have earned a solid fan base through their performances as Shiva and Sahana respectively. Apart from Navin Kumar and Hima Bindhu, the serial's star cast also includes Ashok, Shiva Kavitha, Ananthan, Karthiga, Deepan, Domnick Nithies, Venkatesan, Devi Teju, Vijaya Patti, Issac Varkees, Soundar, Vishnukanth, Srinidhi, Mahesh Prabha, Jay Srinivas Kumar, and others.
