National Award-winning Tamil actor Suriya's next big film, Kanguva, has begun post-production works and pictures have now surfaced on social media from the editing suite. Check out the pics below:
Billed be one of the biggest films of 2024, Kanguva is said to be the most expensive venture in Suriya's career. The upcoming film has been carrying tremendous buzz right from the get-go and the promotional material released so far has received a thumping response from all quarters. Suriya, who unveiled a special poster for Kanguva last month on the occasion of Pongal, featured him in two different looks. The first look showcased him wearing a white blazer along with a well-trimmed thick beard and hair colored in a blonde tone, while he was seen in his warrior appearance dating to many centuries back in his second getup; thus suggesting the different time periods the film's story will be set in.
Suriya will be looking to hit it big with Kanguva at the box office as there are grand plans to bring out the film in cinemas in more than 10 languages in 3D format. Although the film was announced to be coming out as a grand summer release in April, it looks like the team is going to take its time with the post-production works to package the best theatrical experience for fans. Featuring songs and a background score composed by National Award winner Devi Sri Prasad, Kanguva has Suriya sharing the screen with Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, who is cast as the character Udhiran and will be seen making his Tamil cinema debut alongside national sensation Disha Patani, with Sathuranga Vettai and Karnan fame Natarajan 'Natty' Subramaniam and Yogi Babu also set to appear in key roles.
