Kamal Haasan's highly anticipated action thriller Vikram is all set to go International. Yes! The official trailer of Vikram will be launched at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival 2022 which is set to take place from May 17 to May 28. The official announcement on the trailer release plans of Vikram was made this evening (April 25) and the update has set the fans in excitement. It looks like Kamal Haasan is leaving no stones unturned with regards to the promotions of Vikram and he has indeed upped the game this time.
In an official statement issued by Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), it has been revealed that the theatrical trailer of Vikram will be launched at the Cannes International Film Festival on May 18, two weeks before the film's release. Interestingly, Vikram's NFTs will also be launched on the same date at the same venue. Kamal Haasan has taken one more pioneering step through Vikram by bringing NFT to Tamil cinema and this is indeed huge and pathbreaking. The trailer will give us an idea of what the film will be about and the fans are excitedly waiting to witness it. Kamal Haasan, along with the team of Vikram is expected to be present at the Cannes Film Festival for the launch of the trailer.
Vikram is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who will be looking to continue his successful streak. Vikram will feature two other powerhouse performers - Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil playing the other leads and it is going to be a visual treat for the fans to witness them share screen space along with the legendary Kamal Haasan. Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie, Shivani Narayanan, VJ Maheshwari, Myna Nandhini, and others play supporting roles in this action saga that has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
