Tamil filmmaker Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's next big directorial, Kadhalikka Neramillai, is progressing at a steady pace and stars Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. The upcoming film has had fans excited right from the get-go as it will feature songs and a background score being composed by Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman. With principal photography for Kadhalikka Neramillai still underway, Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi on Thursday evening, February 29, surprised fans by announcing on social media that the first song in her upcoming directorial starring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen has been recorded, while also posting a picture with A. R. Rahman, Shruti Haasan, and lyricist Snekan.
Although the title of the track in Kadhalikka Neramillai hasn't been announced yet, it has been revealed that the song in the Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi directorial has been sung Shruti Haasan, which will have lyrics penned by Snekan. There is quite a lot of excitement and anticipation surrounding Kadhalikka Neramillai as it is Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's return to the big screens nearly six years after her last project, Paper Rocket (2022), was a web series and premiered directly on the ZEE5 streaming platform.
