One of the anticipated films that is set to release in theatres on August 10 is Jailer. Starring 'Superstar' Rajinikanth as lead, it is directed by Nelson and has created a huge excitement among fans and movie buffs. The makers of the film, Sun Pictures, had revealed a trailer as Showcase earlier this week and launched the audio of the film at a grand event a week ago. One of the songs that was featured in the album but was not released as a lyrical video was Rathamaarey. Now, the makers of the film have unveiled the lyrical video of the melody song composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The song is sung by popular Hindi singer Vishal Mishra and has lyrics penned by director Vignesh Shivan. This is the first time the filmmaker has worked on a song that is featured in a ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth film.
The lyrical video of Rathamaarey from Jailer shows the song is set around the family of Muthuvel Pandian, the character played by 'Superstar' Rajinikanth in the film. The video shows some happy moments between the characters of actors Rajinikanth, Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa and child artist Rithvik. The melody song video also shows some glimpse of the family spending time together at a mall, celebrating a birthday and so on. It ends with a family photo.
As the lyric Video of Rathamaarey has been released on YouTube, it will surely become another hit song from the Jailer album. The first single from the film Kaavaalaa reached a massive milestone of 100 million views a few hours ago. Jailer has a huge cast that includes Kannada superstar Dr Shivarajkumar and iconic Malayalam actor Mohanlal, Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Pushpa fame Sunil, Mirnaa, and Vinayakan sharing screen space with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is scheduled for a grand release next Thursday.
