The Tamil romantic drama film 96 starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha released in October 2018 and the movie was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Following the grand success of 96, Dil Raju, one of the most popular producers in Tollywood bought the rights to remake the film in Telugu under the title Jaanu. Prem Kumar who directed 96 was roped in to direct the Telugu version as well and big names Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni were announced as the lead actors of the film. It was also announced that Sai Kiran Kumar will play the younger version of Sharwanand and Gouri G Kishan was retained to play the younger version of Samantha in the remake. The official teaser of Jaanu came out a few weeks back and fans were very much pleased with the outcome as the team managed to recreate the magic of 96 without any compromise.

Jaanu will be out on the big screens on February 7th and the team has been releasing the songs from the film as single tracks. Govind Vasantha who composed the music for 96 is also the music director for Jaanu. And now, a new track named Anantham from the album has been released by the team.
