Fighter will mark the first collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone and watching them share the screen space along with Anil Kapoor will surely be a great treat. Hrithik and Deepika will commence shooting for the film from June 2022. Fighter, which had created instant curiosity among fans nearly a year back after the project was revealed to be in development more than a year back, will be India's first aerial action film and a tribute to the valor, sacrifice, and patriotism of our country's armed forces.
Meanwhile, Deepika is currently shooting for another Siddharth Anand directorial, Pathan, alongside 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. It will be her fourth collaboration with SRK after they worked together on Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, and Happy New Year, and is also her third time coming together with John Abraham after they shared screen space in Desi Boyz and Race 2. Fighter will be Siddharth's second release planned for 2023 following the release of Pathan, which is scheduled to open in theatres on January 25, 2023.
