Composer turned actor G. V. Prakash Kumar has impressed fans over the years as a performer apart from his skills on the musical front. Having been seen in films like Darling, Naachiyaar, Sarvam Thaala Mayam, Sivappu Manjal Pachai to name a notable few, he is currently attached to a number of upcoming projects among which include Ayngaran, Aayiram Jenmangal, Adangathey, 4G, Kadhalai Thedi Nithya Nandha, Kadhalikka Yarumillai, Bachelor, including Jail with director Vasanthabalan and his Hollywood venture Trap City. In that light, GV Prakash made a major announcement on his next film on Wednesday, which will be his first-time joining hands with National Award-winning director Seenu Ramasamy.
Taking to Twitter, GV Prakash informed followers that his film with Seenu Ramasamy will be an action thriller to be produced under Kalaimagan's Skyman Films banner. Seenu Ramasamy has garnered a fan following over the years for his acclaimed films like Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Neerparavai with Vishnu Vishal, the blockbuster Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Dharma Durai and Kanne Kalaimaane with Udhayanidhi Stalin. Having won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil for his Thenmerku Paruvakaatru in 2010, Seenu Ramasamy is also awaiting the release of his Maamanithan with Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie in the lead roles.
GV Prakash will be looking to hit it big and once again display his skills as a performer by teaming up with a seasoned filmmaker like Seenu Ramasamy. As of now, not much is known about their upcoming film, which has been tentatively titled SkyManFilmsPN2, with reports stating the plot is based in and around Madurai.
