Famous guitarist Steeve Vatz who has played guitar for various leading music directors Ilayaraja, AR Rahman and Harris Jayaraj passed away on Thursday. Reports have stated that he has died due to health-related reasons. The guitarist has also performed in some stage shows. Fans and Composers have been sharing their condolences on the demise of the talented artist. He was the one behind the infamous guitar solo in the song Nenjukkul Peidhidum Maa Mazhai that many fans are vibing to even now from Varanam Aayiram. Reports stated that the musician has been suffering from ill health and lost his life losing the battle to brain tumour.

The musician has also composed music for the film Uppu Karuvadu which was released in 2015 and had Karunakaran, Nanditha, Rachitha Mahalakshmi and others in significant roles. The film was directed by Radha Mohan. Apart from the film industry, he has also been training young talents in the art of music, through his music school Steeve Vatz Guitar Training in Chennai.
