Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest project Godfather has been scheduled to hit the theaters in October 2022, coinciding with the festival of Vijayadashami. Written and directed by Mohan Raja, the director brought some great news today morning for all movie lovers and especially fans of the Megastar. A brand new poster from Godfather featuring Chiranjeevi was unveiled and it was also revealed that the teaser will be out on 21st August, a day before the Megastar's birthday.

Director Mohan Raja took to his official Twitter handle to unveil the poster and to also announce this grand news regarding the teaser. Sharing an intense poster of Chiranjeevi as Godfather, he wrote, "#Godfather Teaser on 21st Aug A sample of our love for Megastar @KChiruTweets to celebrate his forthcoming birthday It’s gonna be massive 👍 ". Chiranjeevi looks serious in the announcement poster, where he is seen sporting black shades. In the background, we can see the night view of the city. This is for the first time, Chiranjeevi is sporting salt and pepper look in his decades of career.


Godfather is an upcoming Telugu action film written and directed by Mohan Raja. Produced by N. V. Prasad, Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Production Company and by R. B. Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films, the film is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer, which starred Mohanlal in the lead. Lucifer marked the directorial debut of actor turned filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran. Godfather will star Chiranjeevi, Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Satya Dev in lead roles while Gangavva and Sunil will be seen playing supporting roles. It also features Salman Khan (his Telugu debut) and Puri Jagannadh in extended cameos.
