Thappad, the upcoming Bollywood drama film starring Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati in lead roles. The film is directed by Anubhav Sushila Sinha and is produced by Bhushan Sudesh Kumar, Krishan Krishna Kumar, and Anubhav Sushila Sinha under the banner of Benaras Media Works and T-Series. The movie also features Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Dia Mirza, Ram Kapoor, Kumud Mishra, Manav Kaul, Gracy Goswami and Sandeep Yadav in other supporting roles. Thappad has songs by Anurag Saikia and background score by Mangesh Dhakde. The flick has cinematography by Soumik Mukherjee and editing by Yasha Ramchandani.

Thappad is a relationship story of Amrita played by Taapsee Pannu whose seemingly perfect life but things take an unexpected turn when Amrita's husband slaps her. Thappad is set to release on February 28, 2020, and the official teaser of the film came out a few days back. The teaser of Thappad got the attention of many due to its intense core. With the big release ahead, the makers have now released the first video song from the movie.
