There have been deaths of notable personalities due to COVID-19 and other health-related issues as well over the year and the latest tragic news has come from Bollywood as popular actress Rinku Singh Nikumbh passed away due to COVID-19 complications.
Known among fans for starring alongside Ayushmann Khuranna in Dream Girl, Rinku Singh Nikumbh had been battling the virus for the last few days in the ICU after she tested positive on May 25 and was subsequently under isolation at home. The news of Rinku's passing away has reportedly been confirmed by her cousin Chanda Singh Nikumbh. Rinku was shifted to the hospital and admitted to the ICU after her health began deteriorating. Her cousin also said that she had received her first COVID-19 vaccine dose on May 7 and was supposed to take her second jab soon. Chanda further added that Rinku was planning to travel to Goa for an ad shoot, but was told not to go by her family after concerns over her health and the pandemic situation.
Rinku, who was last seen in Hello Charlie alongside Aadar Jain and Jackie Shroff, was also a part of many popular TV shows like Chidiyaghar and Meri Haanikaarak Biwi. News of her demise has left fans in a state of shock as they have taken to social media to express their heartfelt condolences.
