The film also entered the Asian Book of Records and Indian Book of Records for the same. The film was highly praised for the audience and the critics for making an engaging film out of this concept with an intriguing storyline. The film also garnered the attention of many leading stars in the industry including Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, director Shankar, Vijay Sethupathi, Aamir Khan, Chiranjeevi, KGF fame Yash, and others.
The latest to join this list is ace director Mani Ratnam. Yes, it looks like the maverick filmmaker is highly impressed after watching the film. The director has sent a text message to Parthiban appreciating the attempt and the idea of doing a solo-act film. Parthiban took to his Twitter space to share his happiness on hearing the encouraging and positive words from Mani Ratnam. Mani Ratnam is right now gearing up to begin shooting for his dream project, Ponniyin Selvan, which features an ensemble star cast including Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Keerthy Suresh, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. Parthiban is also a part of this historical epic and he will be playing a very significant role.
