Dhanush's next release in Tamil cinema will be Thiruchitrambalam which is set for its grand theatrical release on August 18. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures who will make sure the film gets a wide release on as many screens as possible. Thiruchitrambalam is directed by Mithran R Jawahar who is known for helming ventures like Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Uthamaputhiran, and Kutty with Dhanush. As the film is set for its release on August 18, the makers have now made an exciting announcement and here are the details about it.
It has now been officially revealed that the Karnataka theatrical distribution rights of the film have been acquired by AV Media Consultancy and the official update was made on Twitter. Thiruchitrambalam features Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Raashi Khanna as the female leads and interestingly, this is the first time Dhanush is pairing with all three actors. Om Prakash has handled the cinematography of this flick that has editing by Prasanna GK. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film and it will mark the return of the classic DnA combo. The first single, titled 'Thaai Kelavi' has turned out to be a huge hit already among the masses and the rest of the songs are expected to be released in the coming days.
Prakash Raj and Bharathi Raja play important roles in this film which is expected to be a fun-filled family entertainer. Dhanush's next release will be his highly anticipated Hollywood flick, The Gray Man which is slated to release on July 22 on Netflix. The Gray Man, starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles is directed by The Russo Brothers of Avengers fame. Dhanush is also gearing up to begin shooting for Captain Miller, his next film with director Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame.
