Dhanush’s 40th film (D40) will henceforth be called Jagame Thanthiram and the announcement about it was made this evening. The motion poster and the title has got a phenomenal response from the fans and the general audience and it has garnered huge attention on social media. The motion poster introduced us to all the central characters of the film and towards the end, we saw the team of Jagame Thanthiram recreating the ‘Last Supper’ painting. Dhanush’s look and makeover looks really interesting and the makers have managed to create a curiosity among the audience, without revealing much about the premise.
Through the motion poster, it has been revealed that this International gangster action saga will hit the screens on May 1. The announcement of the film’s release date, along with the title reveal and motion poster, has come as a double treat for Dhanush fans. Jagame Thanthiram will be Dhanush’s second release this year, after Pattas, and if things go as per plan, he will have two more releases (Karnan and D43). Jagame Thanthiram has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan and the talented composer strikes big time with the background score in the motion poster.
The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sashikanth under the banner of Y Not Studios and has cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna. The star cast of the film includes Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, Joju George, Kalaiyarasan, and others. Gear up to witness a riveting action thriller in the form of Jagame Thanthiram from May 1.
