The news created a huge buzz on social media and the fans were worried about the development. Considering the instances of contestants from the previous seasons, the fans requested Kani not to enter the Bigg Boss house. However, there was no official word regarding that. Following a patient wait, Kani has now given an answer regarding the Bigg Boss rumours. She denied the speculation and clarified that she has not been approached yet.

Kani, in her latest video on her official YouTube channel, said, "I have not received any offer or request from the Bigg Boss team yet. If at all I get any, I will definitely update you guys". Even in this clarification statement, Kani has only mentioned that she has not got any call from the Bigg Boss team and that doesn't rule out the possibilities of her going inside the house. Kani's regular followers have commented in the video, requesting her not to accept the Bigg Boss offer, even if it comes her way in the next few weeks. We will have to wait for a few more months to know if Kani will be a part of Bigg Boss Tamil: Season 5. Let us keep our fingers crossed and wait for further developments.
