'Chiyaan' Vikram's Cobra is out in theatres and took a sensational opening everywhere with the actor once again being lauded for his exceptional performance once again. The National Award-winning actor has collaborated with director Ajay Gnanamuthu of Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal fame in the action thriller, which has been produced under Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios banner and features music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman. Releasing with a duration of three hours and three minutes, the makers have since then trimmed Cobra by 20 minutes in theatres and have now also released a sneak peek from the film featuring Vikram and former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who is playing an Interpol officer.
The Cobra sneak peek starts off with Vikram arriving at the Hong Kong airport sporting the look of an elderly Chinese man and interacting with the immigration staff. Vikram, who is playing a genius mathematician in the film, is seen next in the visuals hard at work using a handheld camera as a device to execute his master plan, while Irfan Pathan is at the Interpol office contemplating his next move. The Cobra sneak peek predominantly shows Vikram and Irfan in a cat-and-mouse game, with the former on a mission and the latter going after him.
Vikram has once again gone full out in his performance and the steps to achieve the various looks for his roles in Cobra and the result has been largely positive as fans once again lapped up his action-packed performance. He is joined by Irfan Pathan in a crucial role, while KGF heroine Srinidhi Shetty is playing the heroine, followed by Roshan Mathew as the antagonist, while the supporting cast features the likes of K. S. Ravikumar, Mirnalini Ravi, Miya George, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Anandaraj, Robo Shankar, John Vijay, among others.
