Megastar Chiranjeevi who had tested positive for Covid 19 virus a few days before has recovered from the infection and has resumed shooting. After confirming that his test results are negative, Chiranjeevi joined the sets of his upcoming movie, Godfather, which is directed by Mohan Raja of Santhosh Subramaniam and Thani Oruvan fame. Sharing the latest pictures of him along with director Mohan Raja, Chiranjeevi tweeted, "Tested Negative. Back to work & Back in Action with full steam :) Heartfelt thanks for all your love and wishes for my recovery. Humbled & Energised!".
The tweet has turned viral and has made the fans excited. Godfather is the official Telugu remake of the blockbuster hit Malayalam film Lucifer which had Mohanlal in the lead role. Produced by Konidela Production Company in association with RB Choudary's Super Good Films, the movie has music composed by Thaman S who is in great form for the last few years. The film has cinematography by Nirav Shah, with art direction and stunt choreography by Suresh Selvarajan and Stunt Silva respectively. Lady Superstar Nayanthara plays the female lead in this movie.
Chiranjeevi's next release will be Acharya which is scheduled to release in theatres on April 29, 2022. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and has Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead. Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde play the other leads in Acharya which has music composed by Mani Sharma. Chiranjeevi also has Bholaa Shankar in which he will be acting alongside Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah. Bholaa Shankar is the official remake of the Tamil hit film Vedalam and Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing Chiranjeevi's younger sister. The film is directed by Meher Ramesh.
Apart from these movies, Chiranjeevi will also be working with director KS Ravindra (Bobby) for a new film which is yet to go on floors. Exciting days ahead for Chiranjeevi and his fans!
