The entire Tamil cinema industry is in a great state of shock after hearing about the major crane accident at the shooting spot of Indian 2, last night. 3 people lost their lives in this accident and it has come as a deeply devastating news. A few others who got injured in the accident are currently getting treated at a private hospital in the outskirts of Chennai. The three deceased people include Krishna (Assistant Director), Chandran (Art Assistant), and Madhu (Production Assistant).

Among the three, it has now come to our notice that Krishna (aged 34) happens to be popular cartoonist and film critic Madhan’s son-in-law. SriKrishna Kumar got married to Madhan’s younger daughter, Amitha, a few years back and the couple were leading a happy life. Krishna has already worked with director Vijay in films like Madharasapattinam and he was assisting director Shankar in this magnum opus.

It is said that Krishnakumar has directed a few commercial advertisements in the past, along with his wife. This news must have come as a big shock for Krishna’s family and at this juncture, Galatta Media expresses its deepest condolences to Cartoonist Madhan, Krishna’s wife Amitha and his entire family.
