According to the latest official developments, Boney Kapoor has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Anna Ben's critically acclaimed film, Helen. Yes! The film’s remake rights have been acquired and Boney - Sridevi’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor will play the lead role. According to reports, the film will be jointly produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios. The pre-production works have already begun and the makers are planning to go on floors in the first quarter of next year. Details regarding the director and rest of the cast and crew are yet to be known.
Helen's director Mathukutty Xavier took to his social media page to share this good news with his followers and well wishers. An elated Mathukutty wrote, "Helen, since the day it released, it has never stopped making us proud. Thanks to everyone who stood with me in this journey. Boney Kapoor is someone who is known for remaking proven winning contents in different languages and the latest project to join that list will be Helen remake.
