A few weeks back, producer Boney Kapoor had revealed that one of his domestic help workers (called Charan Sahu) was tested positive for the Coronavirus. However, he clarified that neither him nor his two daughters (Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor) showed any symptoms for the virus and added that they are safe. Following that, it looks like Boney and his family were tested for Coronavirus for safety reasons. Fortunately, Boney Kapoor and his two daughters have been tested negative and are not affected by the virus.
Boney took to his Twitter space this morning to share this good news with his followers and well-wishers. He also added that three of his staff members, who were earlier tested positive, have now recovered fully. He thanked the doctors, medical officers, police and the central, state Governments for their service. He tweeted, “Happy to share that while my daughters & I had always been tested negative, our 3 staff members who had tested positive for Covid19, have fully recovered & tested negative. Our 14 day home quarantine period has also ended & we look forward to starting afresh @mybmc @MumbaiPolice.
We pray for the speedy recovery of all the people who are recovering and to the rest, we urge you to Stay Safe by strictly following guidelines given by the Government. @mybmc @MumbaiPolice #Doctors #HealthcareWorkers #Covid19 #CoronaWarriors #StayHomeStaySafe. My family and I would like to thank the Doctors, healthcare workers, BMC, Mumbai Police, State and Central Government for their help and support not just to us but to all across Maharashtra and India. Together we shall overpower Covid19 virus. @mybmc @MumbaiPolice.”
It looks like things are better and normal at Boney Kapoor’s household. On the production front, Boney is currently bankrolling Thala Ajith’s Valimai, an action thriller, directed by H Vinoth. Valimai, which will feature Ajith as a cop, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah.
Apart from Valimai, Boney is also producing Maidaan, which is the biopic of Syed Abdul Rahim, who is considered as the architect of modern Indian football. Directed by Badhaai Ho fame Amit Ravindrenath Sharma, Maidaan has Ajay Devgn and Priyamani in the lead roles. For now, check out Boney Kapoor’s tweets below:
