Archana Ravichandran or VJ Archana as she's fondly addressed by her fans created history by becoming the first ever wild card entrant to win the smash hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss. Having emerged as the title winner of the recently-concluded Bigg Boss Tamil season 7, Archana sat down with Galatta for an exclusive interview and share her thoughts about not being able to win her fellow contestant Maya S. Krishnan's friendship even after their time together on the show.
Speaking about Maya, Archana stated, "After coming out of the Bigg Boss house, the thought that came to my mind after what my parents told me was that Maya couldn't win my friendship because I was genuine. The reason there's no big baggage in me is because I was good to you. There's no mistake on my end. I never gave up on you. I had a doubt towards the end and I didn't know what to do. I then thought that I'll hang in there for another couple of days and see how things go about."
VJ Archana continued, "I had a thought that there was suddenly a different transformation everyone was showing towards me once everyone came. But, I was very genuine and I felt that they were the same too because the one thing I was yearning for over there was that could there be anyone I can trust? Can I get any emotional comfort? At that juncture, they were showing that to me and I had to believe that it's true because the situation was as such. It was just me and her inside the Bigg Boss house. No one else was there. All of them were a separate team. I don't like someone being alone and I'd go and give them company. I respect her talent, I respect her creativity, and I respect her as a person. And, she has to reach heights and she has the potential to reach greater heights is what I think."
