Hindi actress and Bigg Boss 16 fame Sreejita De is set to tie the knot with her fiance Michael Blohm - Pape in Germany on July 1. The wedding ceremony invitation card is now doing the rounds on social media, with the marriage ceremony revealed to be held in the presence of family members and close friends. The wedding invite shared by the Uttaran TV show actress to news agency ANI reads, "You are invited to the wedding of Sreejita and Michael," while also revealing that a legal ceremony will be held a day before on June 30. Sreejita along with Michael will return to India to host a reception for her friends and well-wishers in the Hindi entertainment industry. Earlier, on June 21, the popular TV star was spotted at the Mumbai airport where she informed the paparazzi that she will be coming back to India only after getting married (Ab shaadi ke baad aaungi).
Speaking to ANI, Sreejita also let the cat out of the bag about the guest list for her wedding saying her close buddies Abdu Rozik and Shiv Thakare were invited, who informed her prior that they will not be able to attend. She also revealed that actresses Devoleena Banerjee and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary too will not be present for the celebrations owing to their ongoing work commitments. On a slightly positive note, she did express hope that actress Rashami Desai might attend her wedding since she's currently filming in London. Upon being asked about her reaction to her friends missing out on joining her on her big day, Sreejitha said, "This makes me feel sad but I will make sure they compensate for missing this special event." She added that she's hopeful they all will come together for the reception back in India she's planning to hold once she's back home.
Sreejita first announced her engagement to Michael Blohm - Pape back in December 2021 and is best known for her role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She has also made featured on shows like Ladies Special, Nazar, Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Miley Jab Hum Tum, and Piya Rangrezz, including Uttaran, which holds the distinction of being one of the longest-running Indian television series on Colors TV. Outside of her appearances on TV, Sreejita has also been seen in Bollywood films like Tashan, Luv Ka End, and Monsoon Shootout to name a notable few.
