Television actress Rubina Dilaik, whose popularity shot up tenfold after she emerged as the title winner of Bigg Boss 14 earlier this year, has now shared a video of herself on her YouTube channel describing her journey of recovery since she tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this month. In the video, we see her breaking down at one point while expressing her gratitude to her family, who had stuck by her side all throughout her recovery. Rubina talks about taking the rapid antigen test and being told that she had tested positive for COVID-19. We also see a cheerful response from her after she gets to know that she has tested positive. "Positive? Positive? Yeah! Ek maheene ke baad (after a month), I will donate plasma," she says before announcing that she will be under quarantine for the next 17 days.
Rubina Dilaik, who has been staying at her house in Himachal Pradesh since May 1 when she revealed her diagnosis, also spoke about the symptoms she has been experiencing. She said, "I am here. If you are also going through Covid, let us fight and come out together." Viewers are also shown her house being sanitised, with food being prepared by her sister Jyotika and her mother, who also extend from a distance some other supplies. Thanking her family, Rubina said, "I was thinking of sharing this with you all for a long time. I am extremely blessed, I would say, that I have an amazing family, a loving and caring husband, totally loving and supporting parents. My sisters are amazing, I am extremely grateful. Of course, my fans, I have been reading the wishes." At one point, she breaks down in tears as she urges her fans to pray for everyone affected by COVID-19 and also requests them to inform her so that she can help them in whichever way possible.
