Earlier today (August 12), Thalapathy Vijay and former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni met each other in Chennai and this iconic meeting has created a sensational buzz on social media. The pictures from their meeting have gone viral on social media, serving as a delightful treat for the fans. The meeting took place at Gokulam Studios in Chennai where Dhoni and Vijay were shooting for their respective projects. Dhoni was shooting for an ad commercial, while Vijay was shooting for his next film, Beast and during the shoot break, the two stars met and shared a sweet time together. During the meet, Nelson Dilipkumar, who is directing Vijay's Beast, was fortunate enough to click a picture with both the icons.

Sharing the picture on his official Twitter page, Nelson Dilipkumar wrote, "#BEAST & #LION #DOUBLEBEASTMODE". The picture has already gone viral among the fans. It is a known fact that Nelson is an ardent fan of both Dhoni and Vijay and this picture will indeed stay as a beautiful memory, forever. The shooting of Beast is progressing at a brisk pace and the team is shooting some of the important sequences featuring Vijay and other actors in this schedule. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has music composed by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander, while Manoj Paramahamsa and R Nirmal have been assigned to handle the cinematography and editing respectively.

The film features director Selvaraghavan in a crucial role and he is touted to play one of the antagonists in the film. The combination scenes of Vijay and Selvaraghavan is expected to be the major highlight of Beast. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead, marking her return to Tamil cinema after 9 long years. VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Aparna Das, and others play supporting roles. As per the current plan, Beast is scheduled to release in theatres for next years Pongal festival, but an official confirmation is awaited.
