Director Atlee is just four films old but has already proven himself to be a crowd puller at the Box Office. His latest release Bigil, starring Thalapathy Vijay in dual roles, released for Deepavali and has been going great guns in the theatres. Of his four movies so far, his last three have been with Vijay - Theri, Mersal, Bigil. His very first movie Raja Rani, starred Arya and Nayanthara in the lead and was also a hit. Looking back, all four of Atlee's movies have been Box Office hits. Now, we have an exciting news for Atlee fans!
The latest speculation doing the rounds is that Atlee would next be directing top Hindi star, the Baadshah of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan! Speculations further state that this new project would be titled Sanki. An official announcement regarding this project is expected to be coming out on the occasion of SRK's birthday, on November 2nd! There have been a lot of speculations over SRK wanting to work with a filmmaker from the South and it is said that he has also been interested in remaking one of the many recent blockbusters from Tamil Cinema. Some speculations also state that SRK might be collaborating with renowned filmmaker Vettrimaaran, next.
However, none of these reports have been confirmed yet. Earlier this year, SRK was in Chennai to watch an IPL match between CSK and KKR. Atlee and Priya Atlee joined SRK at the ground and they watched the match together and SRK was also spotted at Atlee's office. At that time, most of the media speculated that SRK might play a cameo in Bigil but Galatta Media had reported even then that SRK was not going to be a part of Bigil but was in talks with Atlee for a new project together. Let's wait and see if this young filmmaker and SRK indeed join hands!
