Maamannan is the next big project of actor Udhayanidhi Stalin after his recent release Kannai Nambathey. The film is to be directed by Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan fame. The film has created a huge excitement because 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu is to take a new avatar in the film and is to star in a pivotal role. The film has music composer by Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman. Two songs from the film Raasa Kannu and Jigu Jigu Rail were released already. The audio launch event of the film is set to happen on a grand scale today at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Ahead of the event, the Oscar-winning composer has shared the track list of the film.
The album of Maamannan has five songs other than the two that were already released sung by different singers. The first song from is titled Kodi Parakura Kaalam, that has an ensemble of singers including Kalpana Raghavaendara, Super Singer fame Rakshita Suresh, Deepthi Suresh and Aparna Harikumar. The next song is titled Nenjame Nenjame, sung by well-known Vijay Yesudas and Shakthisree Gopalan. this could be the romantic track in the film. The third track is Utchanthala, That's sung by Deepthi Suresh, Sireesha Bhagavatula, and Pavithra Chari. The fourth film is titled Manna Maamanna and it is sung by the famous singer Arivu of Enjoy Enjaami fame. The next one is Veerane sung by A.R. Rahman's son A.R. Ameen.
It was announced earlier that the audio launch event of the film Maamannan will be a live concert, which means all the snow will be performed live. Kamal Haasan is to felicitate the event as the chief guest and the actor and producer of the film Udhayanidhi Stalin released a video showing the making of the stage and banners for the grand launch. The film also has Fahad Faasil in an important role with Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead.
