On 24 March, the Government of India ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, limiting movement of the entire 1.3 billion population of India as a preventive measure against the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in India. The lockdown was placed when the number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases in India was approximately 500. Now after 13 days, the total Covid-19 registered cases in the country is around 4,280. The overall death toll in India has increased to 111 as on April 6th. Will the lockdown end on April 14th as planned by the government? Or will it be extended for a few more weeks is now the billion-dollar question?

During this lockdown period, the underprivileged are fighting it hard for their daily bread and butter while some have turned restless over boredom and waiting for normalcy to return. Film stars and artistes have been doing their bit to entertain and create awareness among people during this lockdown phase. Music director Anirudh has now taken an initiative to entertain his fans by coming live on YouTube. He will be coming live tonight on his own YouTube channel at 8 PM (April 7th).
