Allu Arjun was back with a bang, after a gap of well over a year with his Sankranthi 2020 release Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. His last release before that was Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, which hit the screens in May, 2018. However, 2020 started on a great note for Bunny as his Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo making and breaking records. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is one of the biggest hits of this year that impressed the fans and family audience unanimously. This movie, directed by Trivikram Srinivas was financed jointly by Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations banners. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead, also includes Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar and a whole host of others. Thaman has composed the music for this movie, which has cinematography by PS Vinod and editing by Navin Nooli. The remake rights of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is on high demand. We had earlier mentioned that Kartik Aaryan is in talks to star in the Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Initially, Kabir Singh producer Ashwin Varde was said to have bought the rights of the Hindi remake. However, it is now said that Ekta Kapoor is all set to jointly produce the movie in Hindi, under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures, along with original producer Allu Aravind. It is speculated that this remake will be directed by Rohit Dhawan, who has previously helmed Dishoom (2016) and Desi Boyz (2011). The shooting of the film is likely to commence in early 2021 in the month of February. The search for the leading lady and supporting cast is underway. Since Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was a smashing success in Tamil and Kannada, the film may not be remade in these languages for now. More details about Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Hindi remake is awaited.
