Ajith Kumar's Thunivu is set to get a huge release and the mass action thriller will be coming out as a grand Pongal treat for fans in January 2023. Confirmed by the UK distributor that the film will open in cinemas on January 12, fans are also at the peak of excitement as the highly-anticipated first single track titled 'Chilla Chilla' will be releasing on Friday, December 9. Directed by H. Vinoth, Thunivu has songs and a background score composed by Ghibran and is the first time he has worked on a full-fledged album of an Ajith-starrer.
With the countdown on for 'Chilla Chilla', Zee Music South has now given a shout-out to Ghibran for his work in Thunivu and revealed that it is the composer's 50th film in his career. Acknowledging the audio label for the "double special and double celebration", the hit music director who earlier worked on the background score for Ajith's Valimai, thanked producer Boney Kapoor, production banners Bayview Projects LLP, and Zee Studios for the big opportunity and making it a major milestone moment in his musical career. He tweeted, "@ZeeStudios_ @zeemusicsouth @BoneyKapoor @BayViewProjOffl Thnk u fr making my dayð And happy to inform tat #Thunivu is extra special as it’s my 50th Movieðð» Feeling blessed, filled wit gratitude for evryone who has been part, #Ak sir & #HVinoth #ChillaChilla #Ghibran50". Below is his tweet:
Ghibran couldn't have asked for a milestone to get any bigger than this and the music composer will no doubt cherish the experience of having his landmark 50th film be Ajith Kumar's Thunivu. 'Chilla Chilla' is billed to be a peppy dance number sung by Anirudh Ravichander to the lyrics penned by Vaisagh of the indie hit 'Kaaka Kadhai' fame and will have choreography by Kalyan master (Aaluma Doluma in Vedalam and Adchithooku in Viswasam). Thunivu is Ajith's third film with H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai and will see him share screen space with Manju Warrier of Asuran fame.
